Symptom: ASDM 7.9 (1) is not displaying the number of 'Clientless SSL VPN' nor 'AnyConnect Client (SSL,TLS,DTLS)' users in the VPN Summary section under the Device Dashboard within Home tab. Conditions: This problem only affects ASDM version 7.9 (1) Why Is Login Required? Bug details contain sensitive information and therefore require a Cisco.

  • Symptom: ASDM gives popup warning 'File has been uploaded to flash successfully, but the uploaded file is not a valid ASA-SM image'. Conditions: Upgrading the ASA-SM image to 9.9.2.14 using ASDM version 7.9(2)152 under Tools->Upgrade Software from Local Computer, ASDM gives popup warning "File has been uploaded to flash successfully, but the uploaded file is not a valid ASA-SM image".
  • ASDM's latest release is 7.12 (1) as of today and the latest release for the ASA 5510 is 7.8 (1)150. 9.x would be an ASA software release. Note that you can download a free ASAv (virtual machine image) and use in in your home lab. It requires a cisco.com account but does not require a support contract or partner affiliation.
